Griffins (Flag Division)

Players must be in grades K-2 and turn 5 by August 1, 2016. Players turning 8 years old by September 1, 2014, must play in the Junior Division. Flag Division players are provided with game jerseys that must be returned at the end of season.

Gators (Junior Division)

Players must be in grades 3-4 and not turn 11 years old before November 15, 2016. The weight limit for the Junior Division is 120 lbs or less. Players too old or heavy are eligible to play in the Senior Division. Junior Division players must purchase a jersey. The fee for a new jersey is $50. Jerseys can be used for multiple seasons.

Grizzlies (Senior Division)

Senior Division, $60 – Players must be in grades 5-6 and not turn 13 years old before November 15, 2016. The weight limit for the Junior Division is 140 lbs or less. Senior Division players must purchase a jersey. The fee for a new jersey is $50. Jerseys can be used for multiple seasons.

About Greenwich Youth Football

The mission of Greenwich Youth Football and Cheer is to promote sportsmanship, teamwork and good character both in the classroom and on the field. Above all, our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable football and cheer experience for all children in our program. Our programs have no tryouts. Everyone participates under mandatory minimum play rules, and we focus on creating a safe, enjoyable and memorable football experience for all participating children.
